Atardecer

Con el verano acechando, el pensamiento está, en ocasiones, más ocupado en pensar en las vacaciones y apetece recuperar atardeceres en la playa como el de la foto. (When the summer is nearby, the thought is, sometimes, more occupied in thinking about the holidays and desires to recover dusks in the beach like the one of the photo).

Corre

La única manera de poseer un amigo es serlo. ¡¡¡FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS!!! (The only way to have a friend is to be it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!).

Calor

No deja de hacer un calor horroroso, y otra vez recurrimos al agua para refrescar. (It does not let make a heat horrible, and again we resorted to the water to refresh).

Dividida por un micrófono muestra su sorpresa. Las fotografías nos enseñan una parte reducida de la realidad, manipulamos. Parece un concierto, pero sólo es un ensayo, al otro lado no hay nadie. Competicion

Hoy recupero una serie de fotografías en blanco y negro que hice hace ya algunos años, pero que son de mis favoritas, así que espero que os gusten. Esta semana hay Fórmula 1 en Montecarlo, y Alonso (el jardinero) gana a la señora con el carrito (Schumacher). (Today I recover a series of photographies in black and white that I did already some years ago, but that belong to my favorites, so I hope that you like. This week there is Formula 1 in Montecarlo, and Alonso (the gardener) wins the lady with the cart (Schumacher).

Mondo

Después de mi salida del viernes me reafirmo en los lugares a los que me gusta salir. Los ranking suelen tener un orden de menor a mayor. Yo empiezo con el número 1, el Mondo.(After my Friday exit I reaffirm myself in the places to which I like to go out. The ranking are in the habit of having a minor's order to major. Intimo

Un concierto con el corazón, desde lo más profundo. Eso fue el concierto de Nitin Sawhney en Madrid el pasado mes de junio. En mayo tiene disco nuevo, "Philtre".(A concert with the heart, from the deepest thing. It was Nitin Sawhney's concert in Madrid last June. In May he has new disc, "Philtre").

Soledad

Vivimos en una sociedad repleta de personas mayores, que son nuestra historia, somos lo que ellos han dejado hecho, y muchos están solos. (We live in a society replete with major persons, who are our history, are what they have left for us, and many are alone).

Pertenece a una serie que realicé para un reportaje sobre oficios en vías de extinción. Está hecha con una cámara reflex, Nikon EM. Es la primera foto no digital y no será la última. Tensión (gestual)

Cuando viajas y conoces diferentes culturas te das cuenta de que utilizan un lenguaje gestual diferente. Este dedo para muchos no significará nada, para otros una ofensa. Perdón. (When you travel and know different cultures you realize that they use a language gestual differently. This finger for many people will not mean anything, for others an offense. Pardon).

Admiración

No es frecuente encontrar a una mujer en una cabina de una discoteca, y algunos se quedan de esta forma. (It´s not frequent to find a woman in a cabin of a discotheque, and some of them remain of this form).

Zapatillas

Apetece con este calor que el agua del mar nos acaricie, como lo hace suave y delicada con estas viejas zapatillas. (I want with this heat that the water of the sea caresses us, like makes it soft and delicate with these old shoes).

Cristal
